How can we help?
What will be H2Pro's first product?
As part of our development roadmap, we are building a modular pilot system. Keeping the modular design, the design will be scaled up to a multi-megawatt demonstration system. Based on the demonstration systems our commercial products will be multiples of 25MW (or larger) systems.
What will be the capacity of the H2Pro electrolyzer system?
The targeted size of our initial commercial systems is 25MW. These systems will be able to produce almost 600 kg of hydrogen per hour. As E-TAC is a modular system, we will serve projects with a much larger demand for hydrogen using multiples of our systems.
How efficient is E-TAC compared to other types of electrolyzers?
Our commercial E-TAC systems will consume about 42 kWh of electricity per kg of hydrogen produced on a system level (this equals roughly 95% efficiency based on the higher heating value of hydrogen). Conventional electrolyzers (PEM and Alkaline) consume anywhere from 55 - 60 kWh/ kg H2 (65-70% efficiency). E-TAC will only require electricity as energy input, in contrast to SOEC technology which requires additional heat for energy.
Are you planning to produce small/home devices (less than 1MW)?
We see hydrogen as an essential component in our efforts to decarbonize the planet. As such, our system will be geared towards larger implementations, eventually >100 MW. Our commercial 25 MW modules are currently the smallest commercial product that we are targeting.
When will your technology be available?
Our technology is currently under development. We are open to discussing multi-megawatt deployments of our systems for delivery in 2025 and 2026.
