Tzahi Rodrig

CEO

Tzahi Rodrig has decades of leadership experience in electrical and electronic manufacturing operations. He previously co-founded and was COO at Bright Machines. Before that, he was the President WW Manufacturing Operations at Flextronics. Tzahi holds a practical engineering degree in industrial engineering from Tel-Aviv University and has completed executive managerial and business innovation leadership programs from MIT and Stanford.

Dr. Hen Dotan

CTO and Co-Founder

Dr. Dotan has over 10 years of research experience in the fields of material science and engineering, water splitting and electrolysis processes. Dr. Dotan acted as the research manager in the department of materials science and engineering in the Technion, and research assistant at the laboratory of photonics and interfaces (LPI) in École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. His works received awards and honors, such as the Outstanding Research in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting (chemistry), EMRS Best Graduate Student Award, the Jacobs Outstanding Publication Award, and more. Dr. Dotan holds a Ph.D. and a B.Sc. in Material Engineering (summa cum laude), and a B.A in Physics (summa cum laude), all from The Technion.

Talmon Marco is a serial entrepreneur, with over 20 years of experience starting and managing high-tech companies. Talmon is currently a Co-founder and Chairman of the Board of H2Pro.

Previously, Talmon was the co-founder and CEO of Juno, a ride-sharing company (sold to Gett, $200MM), the co-founder and CEO of Viber Media (sold to Rakuten, $900MM), co-founder and president at iMesh (a highly profitable company) and the founder and president at Expand Networks, a pioneer in the Wide Area Network (WAN) management space. Mr. Marco holds a B.Sc in Computer Science and Management from Tel Aviv University in Israel.

Rotem Arad

Rotem Arad is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 25 years of experience working B2B and B2G in the Environmental Services, Energy, Industrial Manufacturing, and Biomed industries. As the Chief Business Officer of H2Pro, Rotem develops and executes region-specific strategies for introducing the novel H2Pro electrolyzer technology to the clean energy market. With a focus on developing long-term strategic partnerships in the MENA and EU regions, he has honed a deep understanding of key players, policies, and milestones necessary for realizing regional clean energy and hydrogen hub aspirations.

Prior to joining H2Pro, Rotem led Business Development and Operations for Atlantium, advancing their revolutionary UV water treatment solution across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, while leading the penetration and expansion into the Heavy Industry and Food & Beverage markets. Rotem also previously co-founded and managed MicroBVM ltd - a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of advanced emergency field medical equipment. Fluent in English and Hebrew, he holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Management, and an Executive M.B.A. from the Kellogg-Recanati, Tel Aviv University.

Before joining H2Pro, Lior held senior leadership positions in high-growth technology companies, where he built and managed world-class teams, optimized processes, and led large-scale international projects. His expertise spans operations management, business development, engineering, global supply chains and cross-functional leadership, with a strong focus on delivering sustainable, scalable solutions.

Lior holds an engineering degree and is passionate about building resilient organizations that drive meaningful impact in the clean energy sector.

Asaf Kay

Asaf Kay is VP of Development at H2Pro, leading the company’s multidisciplinary engineering and R&D organization across system architecture, manufacturing engineering, and technology strategy. He oversees teams of engineers and scientists working to scale complex clean-energy systems from prototype to industrial deployment, with a strong focus on technical rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and manufacturability at scale.

Asaf holds a PhD in Semiconductor Physics and Electrochemistry from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, where his research focused on semiconductor photoanodes for solar water splitting. He also lectures in graduate-level energy technology programs, bridging advanced research with real-world energy applications and mentoring emerging engineering leaders.

Shani Grinberg

Shani Grinberg leads H2Pro’s engineering and systems design activities end-to-end, overseeing the full lifecycle from process design and detailed engineering through construction, integration, and commissioning of fully operational systems. With nearly 15 years of experience delivering complex systems across a wide range of scales—from laboratory setups to large industrial facilities—Shani combines deep technical expertise with strong execution capabilities.

Prior to joining H2Pro, she spent a decade at a refinery, holding various roles in project management & process engineering. In these roles, she led multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivered large-scale industrial projects with budgets in the tens of millions of dollars in highly regulated, safety-critical environments. She holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and an M.E. in Systems Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Daniel Raam is VP Product at H2Pro, where he leads strategic thinking around product development, partnerships, and the company’s role in shaping the global green hydrogen economy.

Daniel’s path into clean energy was shaped by his background in the Aviation industry, where exposure to aviation systems sparked a deep interest in sustainable aviation and the challenge of decarbonizing energy-intensive sectors. That interest led him to the field of green hydrogen, which he recognized as a critical enabler for both aviation and broader industrial decarbonization.

Today, Daniel is recognized as an expert in the green hydrogen ecosystem, with a strong grasp of the technological, economic, and policy drivers required to scale hydrogen from pilot projects to global impact.

Nissim Cohen

Senior executive and team‑builder with deep experience in technology, operations, and manufacturing, known for turning complex technologies into robust, scalable production capabilities and long‑term business value. Currently VP Strategic Outsourcing, responsible for building secure and resilient supply for critical components, shaping make‑or‑buy strategy, and working closely with cross‑functional teams to align technical decisions with strategic goals.​

Earlier in his career, Nissim founded and led NCC Technology, developing industrial coating technologies that were licensed to GE, and spent over a decade at Vishay Intertechnology in senior development and site leadership roles, bridging R&D, operations, and customers in high‑reliability markets.

Prof. Gideon Grader

Co-Founder and Advisor

H2PRO stories

Born in Jerusalem, Prof. Grader received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the U.C. Berkeley in 1982, and his doctorate from the California Institute of Technology in 1986. From 1987 to 1989, he was a member of the technical staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories in New Jersey.

He joined the Technion in 1990. In 2007-2015, he became the Founding Director of the Grand Technion Energy Program (GTEP), and in 2016-2019, he served as the Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering.

His research focuses on the synthesis and processing of ceramic materials for energy applications, and hydrogen generation. A Technion spinoff, H2Pro, was launched in 2019 to commercialize his E-TAC water splitting technology.
Prof. Grader’s work has been recognized with many awards. He received the Israel Prime Minister Samson Prize in oil alternatives (2021); the Royal Society of Chemistry Horizon prize (2022); the Grand prix scientifique - Fondation Charles Defforey-Institut de France (2023), and elected to the World Academy of Ceramics in 2024.

Prof. Avner Rothschild

Co-Founder and Advisor

Prof. Rothschild has over 25 years of research in the fields of solid-state electrochemistry, materials engineering and physics. Besides his position at H2Pro, Prof. Rothschild is currently acting as a Professor in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering, Technion, where he was working for the past 13 years. He received multiple awards and honors, including the Hershel Rich Innovation Award, The Henry Taub Prize for Academic Excellence, Uzi & Michal Halevy Award for Innovative Applied Engineering and more. Prof. Rothschield worked as a postdoc on "Solid state electrochemistry" in MIT, he holds a Ph.D. in "Thin film devices" from The Technion, and B.Sc. in Material Engineering and in Physics from The Technion.
